Associate of Science

The Associate of Science (AS) degree is intended to meet the educational needs of technology in different occupations. The student selects the option that matches his/her requirement.

The Associate in Science degree requires 60 credits as follows-

Specialization

The Specialization includes 21-credits of courses within the  specialization area selected. There are many career tracks available within each broad specialization area. New career tracks are developed as needed.

Students may earn this degree in one of the following specialization of study:


Free Electives

The Free Electives category includes 6 credits which are related with the selected specialization.


Computer Requirement

One 3-credit course in the broad area of computer science or computer concepts is required. For some options, the computer requirement must be met by a computer programming course, and for others it may be satisfied by a wide variety of computer courses. Courses that only cover the use of applications packages are not acceptable.
