Accreditation

Degree Granting License, Charter & International Accreditation: Newport University CED (NUCED) Latvia and Bangladesh has been granted a Parliamentary Decree that bears full validity and recognition with all member governments and nations under international law statutes recognized by the Vienna Convention of April 18th, 1961 , (1963). NUCED has been granted Parliamentary Charter conveying full authority to NUCED to grant Certificates, Diplomas, Higher Diplomas, Associate Degrees, Bachelor Degrees, Master and Doctorate degrees as an Autonomous Institution, Internationally Accredited with the International States Parliament for Safety and Peace.

The International States Parliament for Safety and Peace (ISPSP) has operated for over 33 years. It is an intergovernmental organization of States, founded originally by constituting charter of the Republics of Cyprus, Senegal and Mali on 15th December 1975 and has today parliamentary and diplomatic delegations in more than 130 Nations. The ISPSP is an intergovernmental association of nations founded by Archbishop Makarios III, President of Cyprus, and Archbishop Viktor Busà, and chartered by the Presidents of the Republics of Cyprus, Mali and Senegal. It is internationally recognized under the Vienna Conventions of 1961 and 1963.

The International States Parliament for Safety and Peace holds it for a basic human right to have access to all forms of education. Therefore, the ISPSP strongly supports institutions that teach alternative healing systems and also various distant learning concepts for other subjects that cannot obtain national accreditation due to the encrusted structures of the creditors in their country.  Accreditation by the ISPSP certifies that an educational institution is in conformity with the minimum standards established by the Educational Department of the ISPSP and the legal requirements of its jurisdiction.

In simple words Educational accreditation is a kind of quality assurance process under which institution's services and operations are examined by a third-party accrediting agency to determine if applicable standards are met. Should the facility meet the accrediting agency's standards, the Institute receives accredited status from the accrediting agency. In most countries in the world, the function of accreditation for educational institutions is conducted by a government ministry of education. In the United States , however, educational accreditation is performed by private nonprofit membership associations. Whereas the universities are self-accrediting in Australia .

The nation of Haiti is facing unimaginable suffering and loss following a devastating earthquake which has resulted in widespread and significant damage, especially in the heavily populated capital of Port-au-Prince. The Newport University CED as a member of Global Compact Office is deeply concerned for the millions of distressed children, women and men – and saddened by the presumed loss of thousands of lives, including many within the UN family. Please help them ………….
