About Us

Newport University CED is a European Higher Educational Institute (HEI) establish to provide distance / online and regular tuition towards degrees. Newport University have certificate, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral qualifications as an autonomous higher educational institute and also provide honorary degrees for special contribution to the science, education and cultural field, and is active in the field of educational consulting.

From its inception, students from all over the world have enrolled with the university and its affiliated colleges.

The university also handles applications from international institutions for affiliation with the University and for collaboration with overseas colleges to create European certificate and awards.

Newport University liaises with European Union and beside its own faculties the worldwide adjunct faculties of other Newport affiliated colleges provide its students with unique pathways towards degrees by distance / online and regular learning.

Newport University is purely a distance /online learning university does not offer regular classroom facilities.  There are no regular campus-based activities at present, but provide the facility to have tutorial support through affiliated colleges.

Distance degree students may apply and start their courses 4 times in a year, subject to availability of places.  Many professional students are keen to begin as soon as they find a suitable course. Newport provides opportunities for furthering your academic education using a range of topics that is probably unrivalled at any similar institute. It gives us great pleasure to be instrumental in enriching the professional and personal development of students in the UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, Europe, Australia, South East Asia, and the Middle East.

Newport University CED has been evaluated by California University FCE regarding our curriculum, programs, our professors, staff's qualifications, students and Certifies our curriculum as equivalent to the U.S. regionally and nationally accredited universities.

Special Appeal: Support UN Relief Efforts in Haiti
The nation of Haiti is facing unimaginable suffering and loss following a devastating earthquake which has resulted in widespread and significant damage, especially in the heavily populated capital of Port-au-Prince. The Newport University CED as a member of Global Compact Office is deeply concerned for the millions of distressed children, women and men – and saddened by the presumed loss of thousands of lives, including many within the UN family.
